Description

Primary Purpose
Coordinates pre and post-construction environmental compliance process for assigned projects. Monitors compliance in regards to FAA/FCC guidelines for RF Exposure Safety and National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA). Completes summary of scope of work and summary of existing environmental and NEPA reports. Monitors and tracks progress on all open compliance transactions. Forecasts completion and anticipate effect on overall project schedule. Receives third-party vendor deliverables. Ensures compliance to the quality and safety goals and objectives.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
?Coordinates Pre and Post Construction environmental compliance process for assigned projects
?Monitors compliance in regards to FAA/FCC guidelines for RF Exposure Safety and NEPA / SHPO
?Retrieves and reviews Phase 1 environmental reports against proposed scope of work for compliance requirements.
?Represents Black & Veatch and reports at Client Meetings
?Researches and provides solutions for complex regulatory issues.
?Represents Black & Veatch and client at meetings with local and state regulatory agencies which may require travel outside of market.
?Communicates activities with B&V team members, and other departments as needed
?Forecasts completions & anticipate effect on overall project schedule
?Reviews zoning drawings for compliance with public agencies and client requirements
?Orders applicable Compliance documents per FAA/FCC, RF Safety and Client guidelines
?Coordinates purchase orders / financial approval for scope of work
?Receives 3rd party vendor deliverables
?Coordinates with Construction team for implementation of required Notices and Postings on site
?Performs updates of Client Regulatory Databases
?Performs upload of Compliance Deliverables to Siterra as requested by Client
?Provides Compliance Deliverables to Close Out team, as applicable
?Updates internal Black & Veatch databases as required
?Provides status reports to Compliance Manager
?Communicates activities with team members and other departments, as needed.
?Attends field site visits for candidate and engineering viability
?Assists Site Acquisition Specialists as they coordinate with tower owners and/or private landlords to negotiate and secure lease entitlements as project scope defines.
?Reviews and approves site specific documents.
?Reviews the quality and completeness of site specific documentation.
?Monitors and tracks progress on all open transactions.
?Maintains a high degree of customer service and integrity when dealing with clients
?Other duties or special projects, as assigned.
X Acts in capacity of a ?lead person?. Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Requires 4 year degree, or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Prefer 3 years telecommunications industry experience. Prefer knowledge of tower industry. Previous experience with environmental reporting is required.

?Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
?Adheres to, supports and enhances the Divisions Environmental, Safety, Health and Security Program and enhances the Divisions Quality Management System.
