RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage all aspects of equity syndication portfolio, including tax projections, financial return analysis, tax credit recapture risk evaluation, and FAS167 consolidation requirements • Work with external tax counsel, CPAs, financial consultants, asset managers to identify backend tax & capital account issues & identify proposed solutions • Facilitate syndication due diligence & documentation review • Provide investor relations support in the area of tax & GAAP accounting as well as syndication fund performance matters • Conduct Sarbanes Oxley control tests for the fund portfolio • Assist in the preparation of internal & external reporting requirements • Participate in equity pricing model review
Great Opportunity: Financial institution headquartered in Northern CA is seeking a Syndicated Portfolio Accounting Manager to join their East Bay team (bartable location). Position reports to the Sr. Vice President, with significant interaction with investors and with related departments.
Minimum Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS CPA and 6-10 years of relevant experience Excellent communication skills for building and maintaining client relationships, executing key initiatives Knowledge of partnership and corporate tax returns is required
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of tax credit affordable housing industry is a big plus
