Regional Vice President of Operations
Western Dental Services, Inc., California’s largest dental services provider and one of the nation’s largest dental HMO’s, is seeking a Regional Vice President of Operations.
The Vice President of Operations is an executive leadership role overseeing operations for a large region of Western Dental offices.
As an operations leader, the Vice President will oversee and direct operations management for approximately 40 regional dental locations in Western Dental’s portfolio, representing approximately $100 million in annual gross revenues and 850 employees, serving approximately 175,000 patients annually. The Vice President will supervise teams of experienced Clinical Directors and Operations Managers for the region, with the aims of achieving high levels of patient satisfaction, quality care, operating efficiency and profitability.
Western Dental is an industry-leader in the use of technology and state of the art systems and practices in its operations. The Company has developed sophisticated business metrics and performance indicators to monitor and measure performance at every level of its business. The Vice President will have the benefit of all of the tools and information that Western Dental has developed, and will collaborate with other highly experienced professionals (e.g., CPAs, MBAs, DDSs, statisticians) in evaluating, monitoring and leading performance in the region.
Job Requirements:
The Vice President will be required to have substantial knowledge regarding operations theories, leadership practices, management and analytical skills. Experience in multi-unit retail operations management with a focus on customer service and sales is preferred.
The successful candidate must have at least 15 years of work experience, including at least 10 years of operations management experience. The successful candidate must also possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, with a Master’s Degree preferred.
