This individual is responsible for the sales activities, personnel, and customer satisfaction efforts for the West Coast division.

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs
  • Ensures the execution of company standards as they relate to the sales department
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program
  • Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Directly responsible for exempt/non-exempt staff of 13 
  • Responsible for the performance of subordinates
  • Makes recommendations to superiors regarding hiring, terminations, decisions, training and discipline

 


  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and four plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
