This individual is responsible for the sales activities, personnel, and customer satisfaction efforts for the West Coast division.
Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs
Ensures the execution of company standards as they relate to the sales department
Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program
Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques
Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition
Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
Directly responsible for exempt/non-exempt staff of 13
Responsible for the performance of subordinates
Makes recommendations to superiors regarding hiring, terminations, decisions, training and discipline
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and four plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
