Job Description The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for assisting proposal managers in their efforts to produce top-quality, competitive proposals and orals that result in winning new business and promote ICF International with distinction and impact. Depending on team workload, the Proposal Coordinator may work on SOQs and will benefit from the guidance/mentorship of Proposal/Capture Managers while working on competitive efforts. Key Responsibilities: * Review RFPs/RFQs for proposal production/documentation guidelines and work with the Proposal/Capture Manager to develop production schedules. * Design graphics required for covers and tabs within marketing and proposal text, including locating or originating pictures. * Identify and tailor appropriate resumes and project descriptions/past performance to meet specific requirements. * Assist Proposal/Capture Manager in incorporating discriminators identified during storyboard development into tailored team and project descriptions. * Request updates from technical staff and track submittals. * Help identify appropriate subcontractors by accessing small and disadvantaged business websites and coordinate materials and deadlines with subcontractors/primes. * Follow all proposal department guidelines and procedures. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field. * Two years of applicable experience, including an understanding of the proposal response process. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2007 (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook), Adobe Creative Suite 5 (including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), and SharePoint required. Database knowledge is desired. Professional Skills: * Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. * Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities. * Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. * Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
