Under the supervision of the CTO, the IT Solutions Project Manager will be responsible for the successful completion of IT projects as well as other large cross-functional projects that span multiple business functions. Job Responsibilities . Manage business solution projects in support of the business's reverse mortgage software (loan origination, enterprise lending, imaging and CRM are the main software solutions used by the business). . Manage projects (as needed) related to regulatory changes, business continuity and/or other cross-functional initiatives that require a seasoned project manager. . Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for all assigned projects. . Manage daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, with high quality, and as-requested by the business customer. . Identify critical path decisions, make recommendations and influence project stakeholders to maximize project payback. . Maintain library of standards, templates and methodologies as it relates to IT projects. . Prepare weekly project status reports for upper management. . May serve as SME for one or more software applications related to projects being managed. . Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: . Bachelor's degree. . Thorough understanding of project management principles with 5 or more years of hands-on project management experience. . Experience managing project teams of 10 or more people, including projects that include team members in remote locations. . Thorough understanding and hands-on application of the software development lifecycle and related methodologies. . Ability to work with all levels of staff and management, as well as with external vendors. . Exceptional communication, organizational and leadership skills. . Proficient in Microsoft Project, Visio, Word and Excel. . Demonstrated ability to be flexible and work well in an environment where priorities change over time. . Proven self-starter with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications: . PMP certification. . Experience in the mortgage industry, ideally with reverse mortgages. . Experience leading the implementation of package software solutions such as Mortgage Cadence and/or CRM software such as .
