Job Description
Pacific Coast Companies, Inc. is a dedicated team of professionals that provide a comprehensive range of business services and support to the Pacific Coast Building Products family of companies and their customers. Our Rancho Cordova, CA location is currently accepting resumes for a Human Resources Manager. This position is responsible for managing the overall functions of the Human Resources Department which provides operational support to company subsidiaries. The person in this role is responsible for managing administrative functions and processes for: employee data management, payroll, benefits, recruiting, performance management, employee relations, wellness and regulatory guidance. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to work at both the functional and the strategic level, the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships as well as drive programs in support of subsidiary needs and company values and goals. Responsibilities will include: * Building collaborative relationships with various levels of leadership and employees, especially with subsidiary leadership. * Developing goals, programs, systems, reporting and analysis in relation to organizational and departmental needs. * Ensuring excellent customer service to our employees and other internal customers. * Planning, developing and establishing policies and practices in accordance with company objectives, strategic goals and values. * Evaluating employee relations issues and determining the most effective remediation techniques. * Providing HR employees with professional guidance, holding team accountable and coaching department to enhance their knowledge, skills and abilities.
Job Requirements
Qualified applicants will have: * 10+ years of Human Resource management experience, preferably with SPHR certification. * Experience running a shared services HR department or a matrix organization which includes multiple divisions and sites. * Strong hands-on HR Generalist experience. * Strong management, problem solving, project management, and conflict resolution skills. * Results-orientation and strong facilitation skills with a proven history of successfully executing significant change management.
