Job Description:

VeriFone is currently seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner (HRBP) to provide high level strategic HR support to the Global Corporate R&D division.

Responsibilities include:
. Partnering with the Corp R&D management staff to develop and implement talent plans to address organizational needs for today and in the future appropriately developing internal bench-strength while partnering with Talent Acquisition to ensure talent gaps are filled appropriately with external talent
. Achieving a deep understanding of the business strategy, goals and objectives and supporting organizational changes by developing and implementing appropriate change management plans.
. Working closely with the Finance team tracking global R&D head count and budget planning.
. Ensuring the most appropriate advice and counsel is provided to client in a timely manager to ensure policies and practices are followed working in partnership with Legal, Audit and others as appropriate.
. Driving performance management and succession planning process within Corp R&D to develop key talent and bench strength for future needs to ensure the best talent is retained.
. Facilitates salary planning to ensure equitable and timely implementation. Identify compensation issues and recommend appropriate action.

Requirements:

BS degree in Human Resources, Industrial Labor Relations, Behavioral Organization or Business with a Human Resources concentration is desirable.
A minimum of 5 - 8 years of increasingly responsible experience in human resources driving business outcomes with strong organizational development skills, knowledge and tools.
. 2 -3 years Global HR experience is a must
. Knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures relevant to global Human Resources preferred
. Demonstrated track record of accomplishments in a role supporting international operations.
. Experience in supporting global acquisitions required
. Must have knowledge of applicable employment laws and accepted HR practices, knowledge of job analysis, and general compensations practices
. Proven experience working with management staff and finance relating to organizational budgets
. Demonstrated leadership skills and Influence ability.
. Strong relationship-building skills, results and team orientation and a commitment to the highest level of integrity are required to be successful in the role
. SPHR or GPHR preferred
. Technology company experience preferred

Ability to work independently and within a team environment . Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
