This divisional training position is responsible for facilitating training programs for all functional/product classroom and skill based/process trainings to create a standard knowledge base for business line team members across Fulfillment sites within their respective divisions. Proactively partners to enhance overall Fulfillment site performance and independently facilitates training classes (up to 70% of the time) for the most complex training materials with an emphasis on new hire onboarding, up skilling, and consulting. This may also include virtual delivery.
May provide follow-up consultation with team members and managers once training is complete. The incumbent will consult to identify developmental opportunities which can be addressed through program facilitation to meet business objectives. Learning program and team member analysis in the areas of employee development and technical skill transfer.
May facilitate functional training for mid to senior level managers, and/or senior level contributors requiring strong subject matter expertise and advanced facilitation skills. Exercise judgment within broadly defined policies and practices in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Also acts as mentor for new and lower level Business Training Consultant roles, serving as peer coach.
Due to the close site alignment and partnership, the position will report directly to Learning & Development with a dotted line to the site I&E.
Responsibilities: May consult with senior leaders on training strategy to identify, assess, define and determine training and developmental needs as well as help create strategy related to learning. May function as a site training manager by partnering with human resource staff and managers as an internal consultant to identify, define, and make recommendations on developmental needs. On the job training in observance of successful skill transfer to the job. Learning program delivery to include both scheduled and ad hoc onboarding, up skilling and cross-training facilitation using existing programs and materials, such as Underwriter Essentials, Customer for Life, etc. Includes time spent in course preparation, communication to participants, logistic prep, and follow up. Assist Designers in development of L&D content by providing business acumen, knowledge and expertise relative to achieving the Fulfillment Learning objectives and priorities. Provide proactive support by helping to develop strategy and delivering sound learning programs that meet business objectives. Accountable to ensure FLAM/SLAM, Processor (Fulfillment and Sales), UW, Closer, and BSG team members are able to successfully understand and correctly apply the tools, processes, procedures, systems, and philosophy of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, while providing the highest level of loan quality and compliance. Influence site management on the improvements needed or additional training required by analyzing and inspecting business data/trends, sustaining business acumen and reporting the impact and value of training. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years experience in delivery and facilitation of training or related functional experience.
